Vianca Pereira and Franklin Aduviri were named by the Bolivian Athletic Federation to participate in the CAF-Marathon Caracas, which will take place Feb. 23 in the Venezuelan capital.
Both athletes aspire to finish among the first in their respective categories.

A total of 10,000 runners have signed up to run the full-length and half-length marathons
For the first time ever, the CAF-Marathon Caracas roster has filled up, with registration closing before the deadline for both the half-length marathon (21 kilometers) and the full-length marathon (42 kilometers)
A total of 8,225 runners participating in both lengths signed up to run in the race's previous edition, compared to this year's 10,000 limit.
The competition will award USD 5,000 to the two athletes (male and female) who first cross the finish line of the full-length marathon (42 kilometers).
For the first time ever, the marathon roster has filled up before the registration's final closing date.
The event will group 10,000 registered runners from more than 37 countries from the Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceana.
Approximately 600 spots remain open for those wishing to compete in the half marathon (21 kilometers). Registration will remain open through Jan. 31 or when registration fills up.
